Mountain Medical Physician Specialists selects MBX - Medical Billing Experts LLC as its medical billing provider

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mountain Medical Physician Specialists (MMPS), one of the largest radiology practices in the U.S., with over 70 full-time physicians providing services in Utah and Idaho, has awarded MBX – Medical Billing Experts (MBX) an exclusive outsourced medical billing contract.

Historically, Mountain Medical has performed their billing in-house but the system was approaching end of life. "This caused us to review our billing operations and we ultimately concluded that outsourcing was the way to maximize operational efficiency and revenue," said Julie Penrod, CEO of Mountain Medical.

MBX will be providing Revenue Cycle Management services to Mountain Medical, managing their billing from coding the physician's report to collecting payment and all the steps in between.  MBX will also be supporting Mountain Medical with a comprehensive set of reporting information and data analytics via their APEx Business Intelligence tool.
