NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Move Collective, LLC, the creators of bobble (, a sleek, reusable, patented water bottle that filters as you drink, today brought the company's distinct design aesthetic into an entirely new category, with bobble hot and bobble iced. Bobble hot and bobble iced reflect the same design partnership, between famed industrial designer Karim Rashid and the executive team of Move Collective, that led to the flagship bobble, now available in more than 40,000 stores across three dozen countries.

As their names imply, bobble hot and bobble iced were designed for everyday use with hot and cold drinks. Bobble iced holds any cold drink – water, soda, juice, iced coffee – in a curvaceous 22oz/650mL frame. Bobble iced is reusable, sustainable and dishwasher safe. Bobble iced is built to travel. Its unique, reusable straw doubles as a mixer. Its lid is spill-resistant, as is its slip-on band.

The 15oz/450mL bobble hot offers a key design distinction from its sibling: it keeps coffee and tea steamy. It does so via double-walled insulation that traps and circulates heat, maintaining drink heat for an extended time. It is reusable, sustainable and dishwasher safe. Its lid is spill resistant and its insulated exterior remains cool – eliminating the need for the ubiquitous nuisance of cup sleeves.

Bobble hot and bobble iced are made from durable Tritan and are free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC. They fit neatly into coffee machines and most car cup holders, and come in a range of colors.

"Any product category can benefit from a redesign," said Stephanie Smiedt, co-founder and creative director, Move Collective, LLC. "We learned that with the original bobble. Water bottles were everywhere when we began, and despite that, we've helped create an entirely new category in portable water filtration. So we chose to branch out from water, into hot and cold drinks. We brought the same sense of style with us. Design paired with function just works wonders. We want to encourage people to bring their bobble hot or iced to the coffee shop. Together we can make disposable coffee cups a thing of the past."

Bobble hot and bobble iced are available now at Best Buy (hot / iced) and Old Navy (hot), for $9.99 and $8.99 (respectively). Both products should launch internationally and on in the first quarter of 2013.
