Movoto's New CEO, Imtiyaz Haque, Forges a Path for Growth in the Real Estate Industry

SAN MATEO, Calif., July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Former CEO, Shiro Takeuchi, will continue to foster Movoto's success as Chairman of the Board.

Imtiyaz Haque succeeds Takeuchi during a time of rapid growth for Movoto Real Estate. Having recently become the only online brokerage licensed in all fifty states, Movoto is paving the way for the future of real estate.

Haque led Movoto's Global Engineering, R&D, and Operations since 2014 and took the helm as CEO at the beginning of the year. Prior to Movoto, he headed API and Innovation, then Global R&D at Philips. As an entrepreneur, he founded and served as CEO of a Java technology company, growing it to over 100 clients in less than two years. He also mentored entrepreneurial teams at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
