MPC Becomes One of First Minnesota Businesses to Receive e-Stewards Certification

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Basel Action Network (www.BAN.org), a global toxic trade watchdog organization, announced today that the Minnesota based asset disposition business, MPC, has achieved e-Stewards certification at its Mendota Heights headquarters facility. MPC has been formally aligned with e-Stewards since 2008 and is now certified to the e-Stewards Standard for Responsible Reuse & Recycling of Electronics Equipment®.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) supports both the e-Stewards certification and the Responsible Recyclers (R2) certification, which MPC received in 2010.
