MSA develops a solution to help institutionalize air cargo security protocols

Designed specifically for the air cargo sector, Advanced Alarm Resolution delivers best-in-class protection against the growing prevalence of explosive threats. The innovative sequence of three proven MSA explosive detection screening solutions blends state-of-the-art technology with uniquely-qualified subject matter expertise. The process begins with an MSA Windsor Team—an explosive detection canine team—conducting staggered explosive detection screening of unit loading devices, pallets or other cargo containers. Upon canine indication of a potential threat, the identified package is extracted and examined by an on-site screener via X-ray technology while the canine continues to screen additional cargo or freight. The on-site screener may then utilize MSA's proprietary SmartTech® technology to securely transmit the X-ray images in real time to MSA's Emergency Operations Center for analysis and resolution within minutes by MSA's FBI-certified bomb technicians.
