MSC Cruises Celebrates National Cruise Vacation Month with Special Offers for Caribbean and Mediterranean Sailings Plus Shipboard Credit throughout October

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of National Cruise Vacation Month, MSC Cruises is offering special pricing on select 2014 spring, summer and fall Caribbean sailings on board MSC Divina  and winter Mediterranean sailings on MSC Splendida in addition to shipboard credits of up to $200 per stateroom for guests who book during the month of October.

National Cruise Vacation Month is an annual celebration in October that promotes special offers from member cruise lines of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), the world's largest cruise industry organization. 

To mark the occasion, which is widely recognized as the "The World's Largest Cruise Sale," MSC Cruises is offering a month-long promotion available to residents of the US and Canada, who book select sailings of  MSC Divina, departing from April 12 through October 11, 2014 from Miami and select MSC Splendida sailings, departing January 10 through February 1 from Barcelona and Civitavecchia. Available on new bookings only, special offers expire on October 31, 2013 for MSC Divina sailings and October 12, 2013 for MSC Splendida.

The amount of shipboard credit is based on the following:

• Interior and Ocean View staterooms: $25 per person (maximum of $50 per stateroom);
• Balcony and Suites: $50 per person (maximum of $100 per stateroom); and
• MSC Yacht Club Suites: $100 per person (maximum of $200 per stateroom).

When MSC Divina arrives in PortMiami to sail alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries in November 2013, the ship will be the first of the line's Fantasia class to sail North American waters, the first MSC vessel to navigate year-round from PortMiami and the first to feature MSC Yacht Club from North America.
