MSC Joins National Partnership for Patients Initiative

DENVER, April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Simulation Corporation (MSC) is proud to join Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' Partnership for Patients: Better Care, Lower Costs effort to make hospital care safer, more reliable, and less costly. MSC's national guideline-based simulation training solutions offer standardized education for all members of the healthcare team in several clinical areas directly targeted by the Partnership's initial goals.

Partnership for Patients is a new national partnership that aims to help save 60,000 lives by stopping millions of preventable injuries and complications in patient care over the next three years and save up to $35 billion in health care costs. Under the direction of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), MSC joins many important stakeholders, including hospitals, healthcare providers and other public and private organizations, in joining the Partnership in a shared effort to save lives, stop healthcare-associated injuries and take important steps toward a more dependable and affordable health care system.
