Mudderella Announces Nationwide Dates For 2015 Season
Women Around the Country Get Ready to "Own Your Strong" at Ten Events
BROOKLYN, N.Y., April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Following a successful inaugural 2014 season with over 50,000 participants, Mudderella is excited to announce the details of its 2015 season, which brings the event to brand new markets. Mudderella is the premier outdoor obstacle course event for women by women, inspiring participants to "Own Your Strong" as they test endurance, willpower and strength over a 5-7 mile long course featuring 12-15 obstacles. The events encourage participants to get outside for a high-energy, challenging experience to be shared with like-minded, strong women. Registration is now open for the following ten 2015 Mudderella events:

- NorCal: June 27, 2015
- Toronto: July 11, 2015
- Capital Region: July 25, 2015
- Colorado: August 22, 2015
- Pittsburgh: September 12, 2015
- Whistler: September 26, 2015
- New England: October 3, 2015
- Melbourne: November 7, 2015
To reinforce participants' focus on personal aspirations and fitness, Mudderella events are not timed. Teamwork is essential to completing the course; the events focus on bringing people together to overcome obstacles and have fun. Men are encouraged to the join teams in support of their wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, friends and coworkers, or to come out as spectators.

Each event will kick off with a Stretch + Strengthen session to warm up for the day's athletic challenge, provided by Mudderella's exclusive apparel sponsor, Athleta. On the other side of the finish line, Mudderellas will celebrate their accomplishment with friends, protein bars, beer and music, as well as Rinse + Revive stations for teams to freshen up and relax. This season Mudderella partners Shock Top, St. Ives®, Pure Protein, Speed Queen, Oberto, Toyo Tires and Uplift will come together to enhance the on-site experience for participants and spectators.
New this year, each Mudderella event in the United States will also play host to Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder, a custom obstacle course challenge aimed at children aged 7-12. Jointly developed with one of the leading international soft drinks companies, Britvic PLC, the pioneering Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder obstacle courses will inspire the next generation to explore their adventurous sides and have fun together while experiencing the power of teamwork. Each course will run about a mile long, consisting of four laps around a loop featuring exhilarating new obstacles designed custom for children.
After raising over $200,000 to promote healthy relationships in 2014, Mudderella is honored to partner with Futures Without Violence for another season. Futures Without Violence is a national nonprofit that aims to prevent and end domestic violence by standing with survivors and developing innovative programs and policies that engage new allies as partners in the solution.
