Latest Expansion Increases Munchery's Service Area to a Total of 25 Million Households Across 1000 Cities in the U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Munchery today announced that it is expanding further in the DC metro area, Seattle, and Southern California. The additional regions, which represent nearly 1.3 million households, bring Munchery's serviceable footprint to 25 million households across over 1,000 cities in America.
Munchery's latest expansion is part of an accelerated plan under the company's new CEO to service the entire country within the next 18 months.

To fulfill the growing demand for its chef-made ready-to-eat meals and dinner kits, Munchery has added service to 420,000 new homes in the DC metro area including Fairfax and Alexandria, Virginia, and in Prince George's County, Maryland. This extends Munchery's existing offering in Washington, D.C.; Arlington, VA; and Montgomery, MD.
In Southern California, Munchery has extended coverage to 740,000 additional homes in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Riverside. This includes rural and suburban locations where there is unmet demand for high-quality food delivery options.
The Seattle expansion covers over 122,000 additional households in suburban neighborhoods with residents of the burgeoning tech community, including Issaquah, Sammamish, Bothell, and Mill Creek.
With this latest expansion, Munchery meal delivery is now available to over 1,000 cities in 15 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia.
