With over twenty one years of experience in the field of Retail, Murthy N. Kolluru is revered for his remarkable contributions to the industry. Having served in his current position as Director for Analytics and Development for International Supply Chain for one year, Kolluru has attained extensive experience in the areas technology functions, business functions and analytics. In his current capacity, Kolluru is responsible for developing products for pricing, modulars, features, replenishment, logistics and transportation for Walmart International. A strategic thinker and innovator who has obtained and approved patent for predicting product response in a display area, Kolluru has influenced the leadership in different international markets getting them to adhere to processes while standardizing the formulas across different international markets.
Previously, Kolluru has worked as Pricing Manager and Senior Manager for features, space and assortment in retail business. Having designed and developed different products in merchandising,
Kolluru currently leads a 75 person team in International Supply Chain to design develop, deploy products with analytical capabilities and is responsible for cross country and cross functional teams to deliver products using agile methodologies.Throughout the course of his education and training, Kolluru attained his Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences at Sri Venkateswara in India. Thereafter, Kolluru would go on to obtain his Diploma in Computer Technology from APTIC in Hyderabad, India. Later, Kolluru earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Business Management from Webster University.
To further enhance his professional development, Kolluru is an esteemed member of several prominent organizations including acting as Former President from 2008-2009 of the Hindu Association of North West Arkansas and elite fellow of the Indian Cultural Association of Northwest Arkansas.
Charitable to various organizations, Kolluru is a proud sponsor of 20 children in India regarding receiving educational services. Kolluru has obtained an approved patent regarding formula for KPI (product movement in stores). Kolluru has also lead and participated in raising funds for local charities and organizations in India during calamities. Every year, Kolluru helps to raise funds during the fall for local charities like NWA Food Bank, Women's Shelter, and other organizations.
In recognition of his professional achievements, Kolluru was the recipient of the National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Award in 2014 from OCA.
When he is not working, Kolluru enjoys innovatively coming up with solutions for business problems using new technologies, landscape and portrait photography, and volleyball.
