My Alarm Center Announces "Refer-a-Friend Sweepstakes" Winner

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- After receiving more than 900 customer entries, My Alarm Center is proud to announce Mr. Jackie Dorsey as the randomly selected winner of My Alarm Center's inaugural Refer-a-Friend Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes, which concluded on January 15, 2014, allowed current My Alarm Center customers and Members of the My Alarm Center Security Network to participate. Per the rules of the contest, Mr. Dorsey, an Alarm Monitoring Service of Atlanta customer, and a friend will each receive a 50-inch, high-definition, flat-screen television and one year of free home monitoring.

The Refer-a-Friend Sweepstakes was an extension of an ongoing My Alarm Center campaign designed to reward its existing customers who want to share their My Alarm Center home security with their family and friends.

The rules of the sweepstakes, which was administered and monitored by Realtime Media, a third-party vendor, allowed each entrant to refer up to 50 friends.

In addition to the 50-inch televisions, Mr. Dorsey and his friend will also received one year of free home monitoring services. The monitoring services that were awarded are scalable to include features such as, a mobile application for home automation, including remote door lock/un-lock capability, thermostat and lighting control, and all-around surveillance of the household.
