My Eye Media Adds R&S® CLIPSTER Gen6
Company announces expansion of digital media infrastructure.
BURBANK, Calif., Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- My Eye Media has further increased its QC capacity for mastering file formats with the addition of another R&S® CLIPSTER mastering station to its arsenal of high-end digital processing equipment. The R&S® CLIPSTER will be integrated with the company's 16Gbps fiber channel storage infrastructure and is fully loaded to handle the QC of mastering file formats including IMF and DCP.
My Eye Media CEO and founder Michael Kadenacy said the capacity increase is necessary due to growing volume as My Eye Media continues its international expansion.
"As we continue to grow internationally, we are seeing an increase in the amount of mezzanine file QC work that will be used to service international territories", Kadenacy said. "The addition of another R&S® CLIPSTER will enable us to service this growing workload."
In addition to helping with the QC workload, the R&S® CLIPSTER Gen6 will also be used for transcoding and IMF / DCP packaging.
