My Fit Foods™ Secures Growth Equity Investment

AUSTIN, Texas, July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- My Fit Foods™, a leading producer and retailer of freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced healthy meals, is pleased to announce that it has secured an investment from Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm with over $3 billion of capital under management. With the support of My Fit Foods' existing equity partner, TSG Consumer Partners, the investment positions My Fit Foods to aggressively pursue its growth strategy, which includes rapid development of new retail locations.

In addition to new store openings, the capital will also aid in the development of My Fit Foods' new 30,000-square-foot centralized kitchen, which will have the capacity to serve more than 180 retail locations with freshly delivered meals on a daily basis. As the first of its kind in the category, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified central kitchen will enable the company to not only improve the quality, consistency and freshness of every meal, but also to provide its meals through additional sales channels outside of its traditional retail locations.
