NEW YORK, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A month after the launch of My Name is Peace (MNIP), the organization's leadership has set its sights high. They have announced their next step in the organization's development, to raise $10 million dollars toward the creation of an army of Global Peace Ambassadors. These individuals will receive specialized training on conflict resolution, activism, and community service; and will receive grants to help them implement and train others in their communities.

Additionally, the funds will be helpful in expanding the organization's infrastructure and in building programs and projects, all aimed at creating a world in which knowledge, wisdom and respect – not brute force – are used to improve the global human condition.
"There will be those who will think that we have set highly lofty goals," says MNIP's founder Emanuel Bat Joshoua, "But if I allow others to dictate what I can and cannot achieve, I would never have taken the first step on this road."
My Name is Peace will partner with other organizations that have trained their sights on achieving world peace. However, right now, the focus is on creating a series of initiatives designed to strengthen the organization. The initial objective is to attract key influencers from diverse backgrounds to help achieve the dream of a world at peace, a world in which children are no longer innocent victims of war and conflicts, where families are not forced to leave their homes and belongings, and where schools are safe havens of learning and achieving.
Emanuel and her team will soon announce the organization of a global peace conference to bring some of the best minds together to map out a "10 Years, 10 Goals" strategy for achieving world peace.
