HOUSTON, June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mystik Lubricants is the new, official lubricant sponsor of Cognito Motorsports, a manufacturer of innovative, industry-leading suspension and steering components for trucks and UTVs that puts these components to the test through its off-road racing team. Utilizing Mystik engine oil and grease, Cognito Motorsports will compete in several exciting off-road races this year, including the Best in the Desert (BITD) series of races in Arizona and Nevada, as well as the SCORE Baja 500 and Baja 1,000 races which take loyal fans all over Baja California, Mexico.

The first race of the season, the Baja 500 took place the first weekend in June. Set on a 500 mile course starting and finishing in Ensenada, Mexico, Congnito Motorsports raced for over 14 hours, before securing a 3^rd place finish. Baja 1,000 takes place November 12-17, covering approximately 1,130 miles traveling from Ensenada all the way to La Paz, Mexico. Both races are part of the 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship.
