NAI Daus Hires Cyndie O'Bryon as Senior VP, Office Division

CLEVELAND, Oct. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NAI Daus announced the hire of commercial real estate veteran, Cyndie O'Bryon, as Senior VP, Office Division. With more than 30 years of experience in the Cleveland real estate market, O'Bryon brings a strong background in all aspects of office leasing that will bolster the firm's efforts in that area.

During a leave of absence from her clinical psychology graduate work in the early 1980s, O'Bryon took a temporary administrative role at a small commercial real estate company. Since then, she has blazed trails in local commercial real estate – becoming the first woman in Ohio to earn the prestigious SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and, more recently, upon earning her accreditation as a LEED Green Associate and becoming the first Certified Green Broker in Ohio.

Leveraging her background in psychology, O'Bryon brings a personal touch to client collaboration and negotiation to structure advantageous transactions. Her green expertise adds more value for clients, offering strategies to incorporate sustainable real estate practices. Her depth of experience with both local and national tenants will be a boon to the local firm's national network.

In her role as Senior VP, Office Division, O'Bryon will use these strengths to build the office leasing department at NAI Daus, structuring transactions for new and existing commercial clients.

O'Bryon joins NAI Daus, most recently, from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, where she was an Associate Director and Certified Advisor in the Global Corporate Services Group. Prior to that, O'Bryon worked on behalf of landlords in positions at Ohio Savings Bank and Stark Enterprises, where she executed aggressive tenant marketing programs that increased occupancy levels far beyond market averages, as well as a five year stint at the brokerage firm of Brandon Wiant Converse. She also owned O'Bryon Larkman and Associates, a boutique tenant representation and consulting firm.

Actively involved in many professional and trade organizations, O'Bryon is a founding member of the Cleveland Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women Inc. (CREW), as well as former president and two-term delegate to the CREW National Network. She served as the Ohio Chapter President of SIOR, and nationally as a SIOR Foundation board member. She is a member of both CoreNet Global and the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. She is also a board member of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Jewish Committee, where she chairs the program committee. O'Bryon graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati and has completed graduate work in clinical psychology at Kent State University.
