Naked(R) Juice Joined 'Today' to Surprise Local Charity
Real Options for City Kids (ROCK) featured on Lend a Hand series
SAN FRANCISCO, June 23 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row Naked® Juice joined Today's Al Roker to surprise a well-deserving charity with bountiful donations as part of Today's Lend a Hand charity series. Real Options for City Kids (ROCK), a San Francisco-based charity dedicated to nurturing the development of children, was the chosen recipient of the first Lend a Hand donation this year.
"We were thrilled to again participate in the Lend a Hand series at the event that the Today show held in San Francisco this week," said Brad Armistead, Director of Marketing, Naked Juice. "Naked Juice is dedicated to providing the highest quality product and with that comes our unending commitment to giving back wherever and whenever we can, especially when it's in our own backyard."
According to the charity's website, ROCK aims to promote the positive development and long-term success of the youth that it serves through a combination of in-school and afterschool learning enrichment, sports and fitness, leadership training and outdoor adventure opportunities. ROCK's programs are designed to serve girls and boys, ages 6-17, who live in or attend school in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley.
The Lend a Hand series will continue to travel around the country and surprise more charities from June 21-25.
