NAPERVILLE, Ill., April 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Tribune Media Group announced today that Mark Zonca has been named Editor of Naperville Magazine. Zonca will take on the position recently held by Michelle Dellinger and will report to Leah Rippe, Publisher of Naperville Magazine.
"Mark is a seasoned news director whose creativity, energy and love of the Naperville community will be a tremendous addition to the magazine's team," Rippe said.
In conjunction with his newly appointed role as Editor of Naperville Magazine, Zonca currently serves as the Director of New Media at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, where he is responsible for all social media and multimedia production initiatives.
Zonca is an award-winning journalist with an extensive media background, having served as the Managing News Editor for WGN-TV from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that role he was the Supervising News Producer and Internet Media Specialist at WBBM CBS 2 Chicago from 2003 to 2007. Zonca has lived in the Chicago area for 10 years and holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Central Michigan University.
