Founded in 1890 as The National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU), NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) is one of the nation's oldest and largest associations representing the interests of insurance professionals from every Congressional district in the United States. NAIFA members assist consumers by focusing their practices on one or more of the following: life insurance and annuities, health insurance and employee benefits, multiline, and financial advising and investments. NAIFA's mission is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of its members.
Innovative Brokerage Network Founder Justin Snapp was selected as a NAIFA St. Louis board member during the first week of November 2013. Shortly after, the rest of the board members officially voted Snapp in for his reputable work with Innovative Brokerage Network and his stint as Chairman of the Young Advisor Team (YAT), whose mission is to sow the value of membership with new and young advisors so they are empowered to survive their first years in the business, grow into engaged NAIFA members and become successful advisors who thrive in the industry. This is the same holistic and inclusive approach Snapp takes with his own IMO.
"I'm big on teams," said Snapp, "It's all about forming partnerships and teamwork from the beginning. As for NAIFA, I'm very excited to serve, and I look forward to helping NAIFA St. Louis grow in the years to come."
NAIFA comprises state and local associations representing the interests of approximately 75,000 sales professionals in life insurance, health insurance and other financial services nationwide. The St. Louis chapter of the NAIFA association has nearly 400 members and is the largest in the state of Missouri. Snapp will serve for approximately three years in a term that will end in 2016.
