This new holiday was aimed at celebrating both the tradition and excitement of class rings.
People across the country were encouraged to proudly wear their class ring(s) on this day and take a moment to reflect on their high school or collegiate experiences. It was also a time for current students to embrace their school spirit and wear their class rings.
On National Class Ring Day (October 9th, 2014), Herff Jones sponsored a promotion for proud students and adults to win a $250 Visa Giftcard by posting an image of their class ring or an image that represents what their class ring means to them on Instagram or Twitter along with the hashtag #ClassRingDay.
