National Commercial Auctioneers to Sell 3 Former Circuit City Stores and 1 Prime Retail Property at Auction in October
TULSA, Okla., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- National Commercial Auctioneers [www.natcomauctions.com] announces a four-day auction event of former Circuit City and shadow anchor retail stores located in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Mississippi. The auction event will be conducted over four consecutive days beginning on Monday October 25, according to Stephen Kaler, Regional Vice President.

The first property, located in East Lansing, MI, is a 27,835 SF former Circuit City built in 1998. Located in a prime retail shopping center on Grand River Ave. and is within one mile of Michigan State University. The auction is set for Monday, October 25, at 11am. Inspections will be held on October 7 and 14 from 12pm to 2pm and on auction day at 10am.
The second property is a 15,700 SF former Fashion Bug retail building on 1.2 acres. It is an adjacent out parcel to the Metropolis development located at 2605 East Main Street (US Highway 40) and Perry Road in Plainfield, Ind. The auction will be held on Tuesday, October 26, at 11am. Inspections are set for October 13 and 19 from 12pm to 2pm and on auction day at 10am.
Day 3 of the Auction Event will feature 55 Ludwig Drive, Fairview Heights, Ill., a 31,352 SF former Circuit City built in 1991 in a prime location with direct access and visibility from Interstate 64. The auction is set for Wednesday, October 27, at 11am. Inspections are scheduled for October 12 and 20 from 12pm to 2pm and on auction day at 10am.
The fourth property to be sold at auction is a former Circuit City store located at 1055 East County Line Road, Jackson, Mississippi. The 32,975 SF store built in 1997 is located in the County Line Plaza power retail shopping center with direct access from I-55. Co-tenants in County Line Plaza include Old Navy, Shoe Carnival and Walgreens. The auction is set for Thursday, October 28, at 11am. Inspections are scheduled for Wednesday, October 13 and 20 from 10am to 12pm and on auction day at 10am.
