National Comprehensive Cancer Network and New Century Health Reach Licensing Agreement to Expand Evidence Based Cancer Care Delivery

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. and BREA, Calif., Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®), a not-for-profit alliance of the world's leading cancer centers, and New Century Health, a specialty care management company, announced a licensing agreement that will strengthen the ability of medical oncologists and other health care providers to deliver evidence based cancer care.  New Century Health has become an Official Licensee of the NCCN Drugs & Biologics Compendium (NCCN Compendium™), a resource designed to support decision making regarding the appropriate use of drugs and biologics in patients with cancer.  This agreement will enable health plans and employers to support their physicians with the clinical information needed to deliver quality care.  New Century Health's point of-care-platform will use the NCCN Compendium™ as one of several key resources in its pre-service consultation and quality improvement program authorization system.
