National Co+op Grocers Partners with Mercato to Provide Online Ordering and Delivery to Member Co-ops

SAN DIEGO, July 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercato, the e-commerce platform created for America's independent grocers and specialty food stores, announced today that it has partnered with the National Co+op Grocers (NCG), an organization that works to foster growth and efficiency within the cooperative grocery sector. Through this partnership, NCG will provide member stores with Mercato's digital capabilities, including online ordering and delivery.

In addition, Mercato will be incorporating payment via EBT for SNAP benefits, which is something of particular interest to co-ops.
