National Press Club Celebration of the Publication of "The Grace of Stem Cells" by Jeong Chan Ra, Chairman of RNL BIO

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grace of Stem Cells by Dr. Jeong Chan Ra, biomedical scientist and Chairman of RNL BIO, was published by October 24, 2012.  At the National Press Club, leaders from around the world and the media gathered to discuss Dr. Ra's claim that huge amounts of peer reviewed data is systematically ignored in order that opponents of ethical stem cell research are able to promote unsuccessful, unsafe embryonic strategies.  Dr. Ra is Chairman of RNL BIO, itself a leader in stem cell translational research.

Patients who had received treatment for incurable diseases using their own (autologous) stem cells were both in attendance and spoke of Dr. Ra's story.  Chloe Sohl, who lost her hearing to autoimmune hearing loss, told her story.  But the discussion pivoted not on the stories of individuals but the huge amount of published data of recent origin and its effect on the huge demand for stem cells.
