Nationally Known Legal Nurse Consultant Patricia Iyer Joins Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety
CHICAGO, Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Legal nurse consultant Patricia Iyer, MSN, RN, LNCC joins the Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety as Nurse Consultant and Podcast Moderator.
Ms. Iyer is a respected nationally known expert in the field of legal nurse consulting. She founded and managed an independent legal nurse consulting business for 28 years before selling it in 2015. In her capacity as a nursing expert witness and legal nurse consultant, she has discussed or reviewed thousands of medical malpractice cases. This knowledge has led to her deep commitment to patient safety. Ms. Iyer served on the board of directors of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants including one year as president of the association.
Ms. Iyer is a prolific author who has written, edited or coauthored more than 200 books, chapters, case studies, online courses or articles. She is a member of the National Speakers Association, and has been the moderator for some of PPAHS's podcasts.

Ms. Iyer will be the host of PPAHS's podcasts. She has recently hosted podcasts on "Preventing Blood Clots in Pregnancy" and "Keeping Pregnant Mothers Safe from Blood Clots: Managing the Health Care Risk in Obese Patients"
