CAMBRIDGE, Md., Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bethany Christian Services, the nation's premier family preservation and adoption agency, announces a new satellite office serving Eastern Shore Maryland.
Bethany envisions a world where every child has a loving family. Last year, there were an estimated 400,500 children in foster care throughout the United States – and an estimated 104,000 children waiting for their forever family. In 2011, Bethany served 66,000 children through more than 100 offices in over 30 states.
Through a partnership with First Baptist Church of Cambridge, Bethany announces a new office serving the Eastern Shore area, offering pregnancy counseling and domestic adoption services. With the parent branch in Crofton, Maryland, the Eastern Shore office will serve several counties within a 30 mile radius. The Eastern Shore office will primarily offer pregnancy counseling services with the potential for informational meetings and domestic services.
The Eastern Shore location will continue Bethany Christian Services' primary goal to help children of all ages know what it means to have a safe, stable, and secure family. Bethany Christian Services offers family preservation services, domestic infant adoption, pregnancy counseling services, and international adoption in Crofton, Baltimore, and the Washington D.C. area. Bethany is committed to protecting children, serving women, and preserving families – with a goal of serving 75,000 children or more a year by 2015.
