Natural BirthWorks: Your Birth Center and Natural Birth Community

MARGATE, Fla., July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The first of its kind in Broward County, Natural BirthWorks seeks to create a space where women and their families have the option of birthing in our brand new birthing center right with 2 wonderful Licensed Midwives.

Natural BirthWorks birth center is equipped with 2 birth suites, amazing soaking tubs, private bathrooms, birth stools, color therapy, labor rope, and labor ball. Their natural led labor support allows moms to move freely in labor while eating and with the support of a doula and their labor partner. They are encouraged to trust the body and work with it to labor with ease and comfort.

The Midwives provide you with personalized, exceptional prenatal care with their 2 beautiful exam rooms. The space is surrounded with zen music, amazing essential oils, and the energy of empowerment with birth. Childbirth classes are included in their care and an extensive postpartum care with visits is provided to all clients.

Some of the other services provided are Lactation Consults by the Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, babywearing and cloth diaper workshops, support group meet-ups, meet the doula nights, and childbirth education classes are now done in this cozy community space. 

Natural BirthWorks was founded as a response to increasing nationwide consciousness and demand for alternatives in birth choices and holistic alternatives for pregnant women, their families and beyond. Owners Gelena Hinkley, a state licensed and certified professional midwife, and Sandra Lobaina, a state licensed midwife and board certified lactation consultant founded the center when they realized just how many women are unaware of the normalcy of the birth process and the role they play in controlling their choices and environment.
