Nautilus Solar Continues Expansion And Welcomes Industry Veteran Jeffrey Cheng As Chief Operating Officer

SUMMIT, N.J., June 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nautilus Solar Energy, LLC, a leading national solar project development and asset management company recently announced the appointment of Mr. Jeffrey Cheng as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Cheng joins the Nautilus executive team from Stion Energy Services, the development arm of Stion Corporation, where he most recently served as its Chief Executive Officer.

In his new role, Mr. Cheng will oversee Nautilus's overall business development initiatives, work closely with the executive team and the Board of Directors on market positioning/strategy and be responsible for the alignment and prioritization of the company's day to day operations and growth.

Prior to joining Nautilus, Mr. Cheng formed Stion Energy Services where he led the company's expansion into turnkey large commercial-scale project deployments and utility-direct solar developments. Mr. Cheng oversaw all aspects of the business including design, engineering, construction, financing, project management, and O&M. Before joining Stion, he was the Managing Director of Project Finance at Regenesis Power, a private solar developer focused on municipal and utility scale projects. Prior to the solar industry, Mr. Cheng was a technology industry executive and a senior technology investment banker at Piper Jaffray.
