Navy Mutual and Navy Federal Co-sponsor 2016 Navy vs. Notre Dame Football Game

ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Navy Mutual Aid Association (Navy Mutual) and Navy Federal Credit Union are partnering to co-sponsor the annual football contest between the Midshipmen of the U.S. Naval Academy and the "Fighting Irish" of the University of Notre Dame. This year's edition of this storied athletic rivalry is scheduled to be held November 5 in Jacksonville, Fla., at EverBank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Navy vs. Notre Dame game has been played annually since 1927, making it the longest uninterrupted intersectional rivalry in college football. Both Navy Mutual and Navy Federal are long time lead partners of Navy Football and Navy Athletics.
