NBCUniversal Collects Impressive 128 Awards From 2013 PromaxBDA

NEW YORK, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NBCUniversal businesses and programming divisions were recognized on June 21 with an impressive combined 128 awards from the annual PromaxBDA (Broadcast Design Awards). The company's vast portfolio of news, sports and entertainment networks, and production companies, as well as the Spanish language broadcast network, Telemundo, earned a total of 47 gold, 39 silver, and 42 bronze awards. The PromaxBDA awards represent the world's premier association of promotion, marketing and design professionals in electronic and broadcast media.

NBCUniversal's tally was led by NBC Entertainment, amassing a total of 26 awards in the two categories: the North America Promotion, Marketing and Design and the Global Excellence Promotion, Marketing and Design. NBC Sports Agency collected a total of 16 awards in the two categories; and Universal Networks International (Germany) earned 14 Global Excellence Awards.
