NEW YORK and DETROIT, March 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- NCC Media, the national television advertising sales, marketing and technology company, announced today it has named Marty Shelata as senior vice president, automotive partnerships. Shelata brings broad experience helping national auto advertisers implement comprehensive marketing strategies to the role, where he will lead the company's ongoing growth in the automotive industry. He will be based out of NCC's Detroit office.
Shelata joins NCC from NBCUniversal where he served as VP, portfolio ad sales and client partnerships for the company's network sports, entertainment, news and Hispanic properties. In this role he worked closely with national auto, financial, QSR and retail clients and agency partners throughout the Detroit/Midwest region, to implement successful, multi-platform ad campaigns across NBCU's linear, digital and advanced TV platforms. Shelata also played a key role in the market launch and development of the company's data-driven, technology offerings, including addressable and audience-based advertising, outcome measurement and attribution, and the company's first linear programmatic initiative.

Prior to NBCUniversal, Shelata held roles at AOL and Viacom. He received his bachelor's degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
