The GES Africa Conservation Fund mission statement is to eradicate poaching of Rhino and Elephants in South Africa and to effectively eliminate the infiltration of Mozambique poachers in the Kruger National Park and onto private game reserves. GES, via its wholly owned South African affiliate Quemic Pty, operates the largest private anti-poaching operation in conjunction with major private game reserves in South Africa.
South African Rhino's are on the way to extinction in Africa. 1,215 rhinos were illegally killed in South Africa during 2014, one rhino poached every eight hours. South Africa is being overrun with illegal poachers primarily from Mozambique due to the lack of adequate resources to secure the Kruger National Park, and infiltration into the private game reserves across South Africa.
The GES Africa Conservation Fund is a game changer in South Africa. GES will combine its extensive anti-poaching personnel from Quemic Pty with support of the private game reserve owners and will directly fund the training of armed rangers and security personnel, roving tactical anti-poaching teams across South Africa, bolster the anti-poaching resources along the Kruger National Park and provide medical and aviation resources.
GES intends to work in conjunction with underfunded and outmanned South African Military stationed along the border with Mozambique by providing privately funded anti-poaching teams, medical and aviation assets to shut down poaching from the source, primarily the Mozambique border.
