DALLAS, May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Neiman Marcus, the luxury specialty retailer, has introduced new restaurant menus with calorie counts listed for each item. All fine dining Neiman Marcus restaurant menus will feature several "Go Figure" items with full nutritional information listed. In addition, gluten free items will be noted on the menu and full nutritional information for every item will be available upon request.
For several months, Neiman Marcus has been testing the "Go Figure" menu items in select stores. Sales of these items have surpassed all other menu items. "Our customers have let us know that they are interested in being well-educated about their food choices," says Kevin Garvin Vice President, Food Services. "We have had a lot of fun developing delicious cuisine for a healthier lifestyle to offer as a choice to those dining in our fine restaurants."
Neiman Marcus Food Services operates 42 restaurants in Neiman Marcus stores around the country. In addition catering services are available and cooking classes are conducted in the NM Cafe in Downtown Dallas.
