NEO Sports Plant to Host the 28th annual American Cancer Society Rock-N-Roll Indoor Volleyball and Indoor Bocce Benefit!

CLEVELAND, Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The NEO Sports Plant, a multi-sports complex for youth and adult sports- related activities located in Euclid, OH, will be hosting the 28^th annual American Cancer Society (ACS) Rock-N-Roll Volleyball and Bocce Tournament on February 3, 2018. The event will start at 9am and consists of 5 indoor volleyball courts on sport court, 4 indoor sand volleyball courts and 6 natural-surface indoor bocce courts. All proceeds from the tournament will go to ACS to help fund in the research of finding cures for cancer.

The Rock-N-Roll for Cancer Tournament was originated by Dan Warren, AKA Digger Dan who started Bumpers/Diggers, located in Mentor, OH, many years ago and was also the President of the Greater Cleveland Volleyball Association. In its 28^th year, this tournament has raised over $250,000 to help fight cancer. This year, Indoor Bocce and Indoor Sand Volleyball will be added to the tournament lineup as we look to expand the money raised for Cancer Research and draw a new crowd to this annual event.

The indoor volleyball and indoor sand volleyball tournament format is co-ed 6's (4 guys/2 girls), and co-ed 4's (3 guys/1 girl), all divisions from advanced to recreational and will be capped at 30 teams for indoor and 24 teams for indoor sand; cost for 6's is $210 and 4's is $140.  The indoor bocce tournament consists of 4 players per team and round robin play; cost is $140. Lunch will be provided to all participants.

There will be a DJ playing music all day, raffle baskets, with the grand prize drawing being a week's vacation at Hilton Head, South Carolina, prizes and food/drink specials at the onsite Sports Bar & Grill. Stop up and support the ACS as all proceeds will go to funding cancer research and helping local families affected by cancer.
