NeoNova names new CTO and COO roles for veteran executives
Raleigh technology company promotes new leadership this week to meet surging customer needs
RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoNova, an industry leader in cloud-based services for regional telcos and managed cloud services providers, today announced new executive appointments.
A division of the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), NeoNova has tripled their employee base the last three years to more than 160 employees and is increasingly involved in new technology spaces such as over-the-top (OTT) video and cloud services. In the last 10 months, NeoNova has doubled its subscriber base and expanded into its 43rd state, Hawaii, as well as internationally into Latin America and the Caribbean. These new management appointments support this growth as well as continued development and deployment of product innovation.
Chris Beatson has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for leading the technology strategy for all product platforms, partnerships, and external relationships for NeoNova and its broadband ambitions. He also will have ownership of the organization's technical vision and product roadmap and will provide long-range direction for R&D. Beatson is formerly NeoNova's Vice President of Project Management and Software and has been with the company for nearly two decades.
Jason McGinnis, former Vice President of Customer Support and Operations for NeoNova, has been named Chief Operations Officer (COO). In this expanded role, he's responsible for providing day-to-day leadership for end-customer and ISP facing operations as well as product and software development. McGinnis has more than 20 years of experience in operations with previous leadership positions at Fortune 500 entities such as IBM, American Express, and Wal-Mart.
