Net Health Announces WoundExpert® version 5.3 achieves Meaningful Use Stage 2 certification

WoundExpert version 5.3 was released for general availability on January 20, 2014 and supports the Stage 2 Meaningful Use measures required for eligible providers to qualify for funding under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

WoundExpert® version 5.3 requires an ongoing annual fee to exchange secure messages and medical record files via a Direct account with Secure Exchange Solutions (170.314.b.1 and 170.314.b.2) and an ongoing annual fee to interface with the State registries (170.314.f.2 and 170.314.f.3).  This certified product-version requires a one-time cost for an extract of patient summaries (170.314.b.7).
