Netlist Introduces Next-Generation LIGHTNING™ ULL DDR5 RDIMMs for Agentic AI

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Netlist, Inc. (OTCQB: NLST), a leading innovator in advanced memory and storage solutions, today announced the expansion of its LIGHTNING Ultra-Low Latency (ULL) DDR5 RDIMM family for Agentic AI workstations and servers. Built on Netlist's proven ULL architecture, the next-generation DDR5-6000 and DDR5-6400 products are designed to improve responsiveness in memory-sensitive AI and enterprise workloads that continuously access memory-resident data.

LIGHTNING ULL DDR5 RDIMMs provide a JEDEC-compatible, drop-in architecture for qualified deployments on AMD and Intel server platforms. When datasets exceed processor cache capacity, main-memory latency can affect responsiveness. Internal testing on the latest Intel and AMD server platforms showed up to 10% lower loaded memory latency than conventional DDR5 RDIMMs. Published third-party testing has shown that memory-intensive applications can scale with reductions in DRAM latency, suggesting the potential for meaningful performance gains in latency-sensitive workloads.
