Network Hardware Resale Announces Carol Thompson as VP of Operations

Thompson has joined the company as vice president of operations. In this capacity, she will spearhead global order fulfillment operations while driving six sigma process improvements and supply chain efficiencies. Thompson also will lead the company's growing professional services operation, which includes NetSure™ maintenance, technical support and asset recovery programs.

Thompson joins NHR from New Vine/IBG, a Napa, Calif.-based provider of direct sales technology and services to the wine industry. As chief operating officer and senior vice president, she was responsible for a $20 million operations budget and 125 staffers at four locations.

Prior to that, Thompson served as vice president of supply chain operations at Sanmina-SCI Corp., a $12 billion global provider of custom electronics integration services, where she drove operational improvements across nine facilities. She also worked as vice president of logistics and supply chain at CNH Global (Fiat) after holding a succession of leadership positions at BP, Tenneco Automotive and Motorola.
