IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Netwrix Corporation, the first vendor to introduce a visibility and governance platform for hybrid cloud security, today announced that it contributed 1% of its December revenue to the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) literacy charitable project organized by Raising A Reader. In 2016 Netwrix demonstrated remarkable growth throughout the entire year, but this December is going to be the record month in the entire Netwrix history. Netwrix launched its corporate giving program in 2015 to support good causes throughout the world and continues to further invest in philanthropy initiatives.
This year, Netwrix devoted its effort to supporting a STEM literacy project that raises funds for children in need. Studies show inequalities and gaps in STEM learning begin early in a child's life, making it difficult for them to catch up with their more advantaged peers. The project aims to provide opportunities to some of the most vulnerable children in low-income communities across the United States by building a solid foundation of STEM and early literacy. Children who participate in this educational program will benefit from better academic achievements, increasing the number of the youth from low-income communities represented in STEM-related fields.
"Here at Netwrix, we recognize the importance of continuous contribution when dealing with the major challenges of today. One of them is inaccessibility of education for low-income families. We are happy to help kids and invest in their futures," said Michael Fimin, CEO and co-founder of Netwrix. "We also understand that a joint effort is more efficient. For this reason, we not only take action, but also work to spread the word in the hope of drawing more attention to the educational problems of poor communities."
