New integration combines The Firm Directory's profile and experience search features with BA Insight's Connectivity, Classification, and Content Search applications

IRVINE, Calif., June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Neudesic and BA Insight announced today that The Firm Directory, a profile-based expertise location system for law firms and legal departments, built on the Neudesic Pulse enterprise social collaboration platform, will feature integration with BA Insight's software portfolio, including its Content Connectivity, Content Classification, and User Experience applications.

The partnership gives legal organizations unprecedented capabilities in expertise identification, surfaced within SharePoint. The Firm Directory's profiles and experience search can now tap a much broader range of knowledge assets, and firms can combine those assets with BA Insight's content search.

Together, the products will be able to surface a more holistic view of an organization's experience and skills in specific areas of law.

BA Insight's Smart Previews, InfoSites, Matter Comparison and other applications will also work alongside The Firm Directory to provide a highly effective portal that will enhance the value of SharePoint. Law firms will be able use this portal to access the combined capabilities of The Firm Directory and BA Insight within their Intranet, as well as through The Firm Directory's mobile and web applications.
