New 9Line Pinpoint Service Alerts Security to Cellphone 911 Caller Locations

St. Louis company's new service shows on-site security where a cellphone 911 caller is and shares the security team's contact information with the 911 center

More than 80 percent of 911 calls now come from wireless devices, according to NENA: The 9-1-1 Association. While landlines and connected campus phone systems can alert on-site staff when someone dials 911, cellphone calls have long remained a blind spot.
