MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Our Rescue and its partners in the Interstate Justice Coalition (IJC), Skull Games Solutions and We Fight Monsters, are proud to announce the addition of Operation Light Shine (OLS) as the newest member of the coalition. This partnership expands the reach and impact of multi-state surge operations combating sex trafficking and child exploitation across the United States.
The Interstate Justice Coalition is a nimble, multi-agency collaboration designed to support and enhance law enforcement efforts in disrupting trafficking networks and rescuing survivors. Its most recent surge operation led to 32 rescues and 15 arrests, underscoring the coalition's results-driven approach.
Led by CEO Bryan Weight, Operation Light Shine brings a proven Intercept Task Force model that unites federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies with NGO partners to accelerate child rescues, offender apprehension, and digital evidence recovery. Through this integration, the IJC strengthens national coordination—equipping regional task forces with the resources, technology, and training needed to dismantle trafficking networks.
"At Operation Light Shine, we believe that the fight against child exploitation and trafficking is bigger than any one organization. That's why we're honored to partner alongside Our Rescue, Skull Games, and We Fight Monsters," said Bryan Weight, CEO of Operation Light Shine. "Together, we are uniting expertise across law enforcement, training, technology, and survivor support to dismantle trafficking networks and protect the innocent. This collaboration represents a powerful shift in our space—showing that when groups come together with one mission, we can shine a brighter light of hope and create an even greater impact."
"The addition of Operation Light Shine is a force multiplier," said Derek Benner, CEO of Our Rescue. "Their Intercept Task Force model perfectly complements the IJC's mission to unify public and private partners in a single, coordinated front against trafficking and exploitation."
"We welcome OLS's contributions," added Ben Owen, Co-Founder of We Fight Monsters. "Their operational expertise will help us find victims faster, get them to safety, and put traffickers and predators where they belong, behind bars."
"By linking our distinct capabilities in technology, intelligence, and survivor-centered recovery with OLS's resources, we're proving that collaboration is the most powerful weapon in the fight to protect children," said Jeff Tiegs, Founder of Skull Games Solutions.
IJC unites nonprofit and law enforcement partners around a shared mission: to conduct intelligence-driven, multi-state surge operations focused on the rescue and recovery of trafficking and child exploitation victims. These operations leverage digital forensics, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and direct law enforcement collaboration to identify victims and apprehend offenders.
While many operational details remain confidential to protect ongoing cases, the coalition is grounded in four core principles:
- Aligned nonprofit partners: Our Rescue, Skull Games Solutions, We Fight Monsters, and now Operation Light Shine
- Multi-agency law enforcement collaboration
- Fast-moving, high-impact surge operations with community support
- Real-time coordination across multiple states
Together, this newly expanded coalition is preparing for its next U.S. based Surge Operation in late 2025, focused on strengthening domestic collaboration and accelerating actionable case outcomes nationwide.
How the Public Can Join the Fight
Supporters are encouraged to donate to the Interstate Justice Coalition Fund.
Contributions directly support:
- Cyber intelligence and investigative analysis
- Multi-state operational logistics
- Critical post-rescue survivor care
"Operations are happening now, and we urgently need your help," said Benner. "Together, we can protect our communities, support our heroes, and bring justice to traffickers."
