What can I say? As one of my friends commented: "We've been asleep at the wheel." We must wake up. And this book and Dr. Killingsworth (Ph.D. from MIT and Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Research at DESE Research, Inc.) put forth the solution to saving manufacturing.

This book has eight chapters that include historical and critical information on job losses, employment, plant closings, industrial production, output, a history of warnings, and, most important, corrective policy actions.
