SALT LAKE CITY, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York Times today released its Best Sellers list for the week of April 17, 2011. The Healthy Home, a new book containing easy solutions for making your home healthier, is the #7 hardcover advice book on the list. Written by award-winning microbiologist Dr. Myron Wentz and USANA Health Sciences CEO Dave Wentz, The Healthy Home tackles everyday problems from chemicals in our household products to contaminants in our food and more. The authors will continue to travel across North America on The Healthy Home book tour through April 21.
"The response to our book has been incredible," says Dave Wentz. "Although the book was released less than three weeks ago, we have gotten calls from reporters and TV and radio stations from all over North America. We have received over 3,000 'likes' on Facebook in a short time and gotten a lot of great feedback from our readers. Clearly, the topics we address in The Healthy Home are a huge interest to the general public."
"It's an honor for us to make the New York Times Best Sellers list," says Dr. Myron Wentz. "When we wrote this book, our goal was to help educate people on the toxins and other dangers in their homes and empower them to create a healthier environment for their families. Making this prestigious list demonstrates we're doing what we set out to do."
