KITCHENER, ON, Aug. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Canada is a country of snackers, munching away for enjoyment, indulgence and convenience¹. To help Canadians find a delicious, portable snack that is also unique from the countless options in the snack aisle, Dare Foods Limited has introduced Boulangerie Grissol® Sweet Thins™. These thin, crispy slices of bakery-style loaves are baked, sliced and toasted and conveniently portion-packaged. With only 80 calories per pack and no artificial flavours, they are the perfect on-the-go snack for a sweet indulgence.

To create Sweet Thins™, Boulangerie Grissol® took its 70 years of experience in perfecting the fine bread-making craft as well as inspiration from its Melba Toast line (known for its crisp, thinly-sliced toasts). With a toasted texture similar to Melba Toast, but with the added twist of using dessert-like loaves such as banana bread, chocolate brownie and lemon poppy seed, these sweet snacks are made by baking, slicing and toasting fresh loaves.
