Data service revenue in Puerto Rico is expected to nearly double from 17 percent in 2011 to 32 percent in 2016, supported by a surge in mobile data services thanks to the implementation of broadband development schemes launched by the FCC.

Bolivia: Mobile Operators Hope for a 3G Boost
Bolivia's telecommunications market is one of the smallest in the region in terms of aggregate revenue, but it is among the fastest growing markets in Latin America, given its continued adoption of mobile services. Pyramid Research expects revenue to grow at a compound annual rate of 6.9 percent through 2016, reaching US$1.46 billion by the end of the period.

After growing 12.5 percent combined from 2010 to 2011, mobile voice and data services will continue to grow at a 7 percent CAGR through 2016.
