MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce the opening of the new Courtyard by Marriott and Champions Restaurant Downtown Fort Wayne today. The opening comes three weeks earlier than originally scheduled and in time to accommodate guests for the popular Cord Duesenberg Festival in Auburn, Indiana and the final home games of the year for the Fort Wayne Tin Caps.
The 250 room hotel is part of the new mixed-use revitalization developments in downtown Fort Wayne and Harrison Square. Offering over 6,000 square feet of meeting space including a spacious ballroom that seats up to 250 people, the property can accommodate both business and social events such as galas and weddings. An over-the-street enclosed walkway provides easy and convenient access for guests desiring to attend events at the Embassy Theatre and Grand Wayne Convention Center.
Boasting the new Courtyard concept of "Refreshing Business", the hotel offers cutting edge technology and services designed around offering guests more options while traveling. The lobby will feature a 52" LCD touch screen "GoBoard" which highlights maps, weather, news, events, and other local information. In addition, media pods, a home theatre environment and a business library in the lobby will provide cutting edge technology for guests, designed around their needs, with places to eat, connect, work and relax.
The Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne Downtown at the Grand Wayne Center is complimented by a Champions Restaurant and Sports Bar.
