The TAP-EX from Amped Wireless takes away the stress of wireless networking with an innovative touchscreen interface. Extending a wireless network up to 10,000 square feet is now possible with the touch of a finger. After powering on the TAP-EX, the user taps to scan for the Wi-Fi network they would like to extend, then selects that network from the list and setup is complete.
The touch screen also allows the user to also control many Parental Control features and settings like Guest Networks, the Wi-Fi Access Schedule, User Access Controls, the strength of the Wi-Fi signal in Signal Coverage Controls and many other details.
At a mere five inches tall by about five inches wide, the TAP-EX can be placed on a shelf, desk, or even mounted to a wall. Thoughtfully designed to complement most interior aesthetics, the TAP-EX also features an optional modern digital clock display. The extender is built with two additional wired ports for directly connecting smart TVs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and any other network device. It is also equipped with a USB port for local file sharing.
