New Era And The Canadian Football League Announce, 'Player Inspired Series'

BUFFALO, N.Y., Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era Cap, a global lifestyle brand and the Canadian Football League are excited to announce the latest installment of the CFL Player Inspired Series. For the second year in a row, the two brands collaborated to bring fans a collection designed by one player of each of the nine CFL teams. Athletes worked with New Era's design team to create a cap for their respective teams using their individual creativity to create a unique product. Players had the option to design a 9FIFTY snapback, a knit cap or the brand's iconic 59FIFTY cap.

Starting on Monday, October 20th 2014 the CFL and New Era will also be releasing a #CFLInspired Instagram contest in conjunction with this product line. The contest is meant to encourage CFL fan's and headwear collectors to share their CFL Inspiration, and show what makes them true CFL Fans. The contest will run through the CFL playoffs and end at Grey Cup on November 30th, 2014. The winner will be chosen based on specific criteria provided by New Era and the CFL which can be found at www.neweracap.ca. Fans will have the opportunity to win season tickets to the CFL team of their choice for the 2015 season.
