After receiving her doctorate of medicine from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Skeete completed her residency in general surgery at David Grant USAF Medical Center at the Travis Air Force Base in California and in orthopaedic surgery at the 59^th Medical Wing – Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at the Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Following her residency, Dr. Skeete underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in hand surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Skeete is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
